ABOUT US
Who are we?
Tirop Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization is focused on providing equal opportunities for International Medical Graduates to express their interest in specific specialities. We do this by connecting IMGs in their pre-clinical study years to shadowing opportunities and unique medical experiences from a different medical system abroad.
Our Mission at Tirop Foundation is to establish equal opportunities for International Medical Graduates to express their interest in specific specialties including but not limited to: Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Pediatrics and Family Medicine prior to the start of clinical years and to further their exposure and experience in those various specialties.
Our Vision is to allot all international medical students with the same clinical opportunities as other medical students. Our aim is that by establishing strong connections in their respective specialty fields, international medical students will continue to gain first hand experience all while giving back to the local community through outreaching, sport sponsorships and various other philanthropic efforts.
